"Sign Up for Early Access to Battlefield Labs and Battlefield 6"
EA has finally unveiled Battlefield Studios and given us our first glimpse into the next installment of the *Battlefield* series. To help shape the future of the franchise, you can now sign up for Battlefield Labs, which offers early access to *Battlefield 6*. Here’s how you can get involved and what you need to know.
What is Battlefield Labs?
To gather crucial feedback for the upcoming *Battlefield* game, EA has launched Battlefield Labs, an innovative program designed to involve the community directly in the development process. This initiative allows a select group of *Battlefield* enthusiasts to "step inside the war room" and participate in early remote playtests. Those chosen for the Battlefield Labs program will have the unique opportunity to provide direct feedback to the developers at EA's Battlefield Studios.
Initially, the program will start with a few thousand players in Europe and North America, with intentions to expand to other regions and include tens of thousands of players in the future. Battlefield Labs will be accessible on PC, PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series X|S.
Is Battlefield Labs Different Than a Beta? Answered
Unlike the traditional Beta phases EA has used for previous *Battlefield* titles, Battlefield Labs operates quite differently. Participants will encounter work-in-progress content, which may include numerous bugs, rough edges, and technical issues, far more than what one might expect in a typical Beta.
The primary goal of Battlefield Labs is to gather essential feedback on the combat loop, map flow, balance, and other key elements to influence the development direction of the upcoming *Battlefield* game. Participants are required to sign and adhere to a non-disclosure agreement (NDA), prohibiting them from sharing any information publicly.
How to Sign Up for Battlefield Labs and Play *Battlefield 6* Early Access
To join the Battlefield Labs program and gain early access to *Battlefield 6*, head over to the Battlefield Labs webpage. There, you can learn more about the program and sign up for a chance to participate. You will need to log in or create an EA account, link it to the platform where you plan to play *Battlefield*, and then sign in. If you encounter a queue to access the EA website, make sure to check back regularly, as you'll have only 15 minutes to enter once it's your turn.
Once you gain access to the sign-up page, fill out the required information and register your email address. Keep an eye on your email for updates from the official Battlefield Labs newsletter, which will include playtest information if you are selected.
EA has announced that the next *Battlefield* game will launch within EA's FY26, meaning you can expect *Battlefield 6* to hit the shelves before April 1, 2026.
