Rest and Recuperation in Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2

Sleep is paramount in Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2, offering a crucial way to fully restore health without relying solely on food and potions. This guide details where to find a place to rest your weary head.

Securing a Bed

Early in the game, obtaining your own bed is vital. During the “Wedding Crashers” quest, completing either the blacksmith (Radovan) or miller (Kreyzl) questline will grant you access to a bed. Radovan, located in the closer town of Tachov, is a convenient option. After finishing his smithing tutorial, you'll gain access to a bed in the room adjacent to the forge.

Your Bed in Tachov

This bed will be marked on your world map, and a nearby chest provides convenient storage. Return here whenever you need to recuperate.

Utilizing Campsites

When immediate access to your bed isn't possible, numerous campsites are scattered throughout the game world. These may be occupied by bandits, requiring a bit of cleanup before use, or they may be deserted. Campsite beds are marked on your map and offer a less comfortable, but effective, means of resting.

Sleeping in Other Beds (Proceed with Caution!)

As a last resort, you can sleep in NPCs' beds, but be warned: getting caught will lead to a confrontation with the guards unless you can successfully talk your way out of trouble.
