Sonic's Dramatic Future Unveiled at IGN Fan Fest 2025

If you're a fan of Sonic the Hedgehog, you'll know that IDW's long-running series recently celebrated a significant achievement with its 75th issue. This milestone marked the conclusion of the epic battle between Team Sonic and the formidable villain Clutch, setting the stage for a gripping follow-up story titled "Scattered Pieces."

"Scattered Pieces" unfolds across issues #76 through #80, with the first installment already available. As anticipation builds, IGN is proud to premiere exclusive artwork from the penultimate chapter of this exciting storyline at IGN Fan Fest. Written by series veteran Ian Flynn, Sonic the Hedgehog #79 showcases interior art and a main cover by Adam Bryce Thomas, complemented by variant covers from Tyler Mcgrath and Nathalie Fourdraine.

The intense rivalry between sharpshooter Whisper and deadly assassin Mimic reaches its dramatic climax! Only one of these former allies will survive.
