Spider-Woman Joins Marvel Contest of Champions Amid Lumatrix Threat

Following the epic Dark Phoenix saga, Kabam has unleashed an exciting new update for Marvel Contest of Champions, introducing two thrilling characters: Spider-Woman and Lumatrix. This update not only brings new heroes to the fray but also offers new quests, special events, and the latest chapter of Act 9.2, all packed with valuable rewards for players to chase.

Spider-Woman, with her spider-enhanced abilities and espionage prowess, swings into The Contest on April 17th. On the other hand, Lumatrix, the first Eidol Champion of 2025, makes a dazzling debut on April 9th. Created by The Founders, Lumatrix is a dangerous assassin whose light manipulation powers are as deadly as they are beautiful. To add Lumatrix to your roster, you'll need to gather Light Essence from Battlegrounds, Saga Incursions, and Raids, with the event running through June 4th.

The new quest, Spy Games, immerses players in a thrilling narrative featuring Black Widow, who enlists Spider-Woman to unravel the mysteries surrounding the Eidols' arrival. Expect danger and deception at every turn as these elite spies delve into the sinister light show orchestrated by Lumatrix. This event runs from March 9th to May 7th.

Deadpool adds his unique flair to the update with the Red & Dead’s Discount Shed event, running from April 25th to May 2nd. Persuaded by Red Guardian, Deadpool shares a stash of special rewards, including event currency, crystals, and bonuses. Following this, from May 7th to 14th, the Heart of Fire Sale offers a chance to acquire valuable Champions and rewards through Heart of Fire crystals.

Later this month, the Thunderbolts Daily Super Event will shake up the seven-day supply drop, running from April 18th through May 2nd. By achieving milestones, players can earn Poolshields, which can be exchanged for rewards during Red & Dead’s Discount Shed. Additionally, daily supply drops will be available from April 25th to May 23rd, ensuring more free rewards for those who log in regularly.
