Spotify Experiences Outage: Users Report Issues

Attention music lovers: Spotify, the popular music streaming service, experienced a widespread outage starting around 6 a.m. PT this morning. According to reports from Downdetector, a sister site of IGN, the service has been inundated with outage reports throughout the morning. Our team at IGN also encountered difficulties accessing Spotify, and even when we managed to open the app, it failed to play any music.

Spotify has officially acknowledged the issue and is actively working to resolve it as swiftly as possible. The company took to social media to clarify that the outage is not related to a security hack, dispelling any rumors to the contrary.
