Streamer Completes Impossible FromSoftware Challenge After Two Years

FromSoftware games are renowned for their brutal difficulty, as evidenced by streamer Kai Cenat's over 1,000 deaths while attempting to complete Elden Ring. This makes the feats of those who undertake even greater challenges truly remarkable.

Streamer Dinossindgeil has achieved a historic milestone by becoming the first person to successfully complete the God Run 3 SL1 challenge. This formidable task involves completing seven FromSoftware games consecutively without leveling up or taking a single hit. Dinossindgeil dedicated nearly two years to this endeavor, and upon defeating the final boss, Soul of Cinder in Dark Souls III, he was overcome with emotion, breaking down in tears.

The God Run 3 SL1 challenge is widely regarded as the most difficult within the FromSoftware gaming community. It requires players to finish seven games in a row, with no level-ups and no damage taken. The rules are strict: any hit taken, no matter how far into the run, forces the player to start over from the beginning.

Dinossindgeil's journey was fraught with challenges. In the summer of 2024, a bug in Dark Souls II—where an arrow clipped through a wall—ended one of his runs. At that point, he had already conquered Elden Ring and Dark Souls I, but the rules compelled him to begin anew.

It will be fascinating to see FromSoftware's response to this incredible achievement. What is undeniable is that Dinossindgeil has etched his name into gaming history with this unparalleled feat.
