Superhero Skin Returns in Fortnite after Long Absence

After over a year's absence, Fortnite's Wonder Woman skin is back in the item shop! This popular superhero skin's return also includes the Athena's Battleaxe pickaxe and Golden Eagle Wings glider.

Epic Games' battle royale consistently features exciting crossovers, collaborating with various franchises from pop culture, music, and even clothing brands like Nike and Air Jordan. This latest return of a fan-favorite superhero cosmetic is a prime example.

Fortnite boasts a wide array of superhero skins from both DC and Marvel, often timed with movie releases and including unique gameplay additions. Characters like Batman and Harley Quinn have even received multiple variant skins, such as "The Batman Who Laughs" and "Rebirth Harley Quinn." Now, Wonder Woman joins the ranks of returning DC heroes.

Community member HYPEX confirmed Wonder Woman's return after a 444-day hiatus, last seen in October 2021. The skin, Athena's Battleaxe, and Golden Eagle Wings are available individually or as a discounted bundle (1,600 V-Bucks for the skin, 2,400 V-Bucks for the bundle).

This Wonder Woman comeback follows the December return of other popular DC skins, including Starfire and Harley Quinn. Fortnite's Chapter 6 Season 1, with its Japanese theme, also introduced Ninja Batman and Karuta Harley Quinn skins.

With Fortnite's Chapter 6 Season 1 embracing a Japanese theme, more crossovers are expected. Dragon Ball skins have made a limited-time return, and a Godzilla skin is slated for release this month, with a Demon Slayer crossover potentially following. The return of Wonder Woman gives players another chance to acquire this iconic superhero's cosmetics.
