by Chloe May 05,2025

Developer Goodwin Games has unveiled an exciting new survival horror game for PC titled "Quite a Ride," crafted with the cutting-edge Unreal Engine 5. In this gripping experience, players must continuously pedal a bike to stave off the encroaching fog and the terrifying creatures it harbors. While an official release date has yet to be announced, the anticipation is already building.

According to Goodwin Games, "You travel by bicycle through a foggy rural landscape filled with eerie secrets and monsters lurking in the dense mist. The game's atmosphere and themes draw inspiration from Stephen King's works and iconic horror films of the '80s and '90s." In "Quite a Ride," players will find their phone's battery depleting over time, necessitating continuous pedaling to recharge it. The phone will also receive mysterious messages that could either aid or hinder your journey. As you progress, you'll encounter strange locales like abandoned towns and peculiar laboratories. The game's road evolves constantly, but Goodwin Games introduces a unique feature: "Players' collective global efforts can change the environment, unlocking new locations, hidden characters, and secret quests over time."
