RuneScape has just released an exciting Dev's Diary for April, unveiling the details of the latest update, "Return to the Desert: Pharaoh's Folly." This fresh quest, available from today until April 28th, challenges players to survive the Shifting Tombs and alter the fate of the desert alongside Leela and Ozan.

Osman's betrayal has triggered internal turmoil, dividing the people and allowing Amascut's ominous presence to loom larger. But you won't be tackling this alone. Leela is back in action, and you'll gain new allies, including some adorable pets. Together, you'll delve into the ancient secrets of Menaphos and unravel the true motives behind Osman's actions.

Heading Back into the Heat Again

Completing Pharaoh’s Folly comes with rewarding benefits. You'll earn Thieving and Agility XP, the prestigious title "The Rabble-Rouser," and a new bracelet named Leela’s Favour. This bracelet allows you to teleport across Menaphos districts, the Sophanem slayer dungeon, the shifting tombs, and all active soul obelisks.

The "Return to the Desert: Pharaoh's Folly" quest is not for novice adventurers. You'll need a Slayer level of 87, completion of the Beneath Scabaras' Sands quest, and specific achievements from the Do No Evil quest within Phite Club. Additionally, you must have constructed the necessary structures in the Fort Forinthry storyline. Once you meet these criteria, you can rendezvous with Leela outside Menaphos' gates and work to restore the city's stability.
