Tears of Themis Unveils "Ballad of the Dunes" with Exclusive MR Additions

HoYoverse's Tears of Themis unveils its latest update: "Ballad of the Dunes," a captivating collaboration with Gansu Province's Culture & Tourism. This crossover event seamlessly blends the game's detective elements with the rich cultural heritage of Dunhuang, a historic city bordering the Gobi Desert.

Ballad of the Dunes: A Journey Through Time

This event immerses players in a world of history, romance, and mystery, evoking the atmosphere of the ancient Silk Road. New additions include:

• Four New MR Cards: Featuring Luke, Artem, Vyn, and Marius, each card showcases Dunhuang's cultural elements – from graceful apsaras to intricate murals and the unique pipa. The artistic style draws inspiration from the Mogao Caves, reflecting the Silk Road's vibrant artistic fusion during the Western Han Dynasty.

• Unique Card Stories: Each card ("In the Footsteps of Silk," "Serenade of the Soul," "Reverberation Through Time," and "Void of Creation") offers a distinct narrative, complemented by Private Messages that delve into a thousand-year-old journey.

Event Rewards & Gameplay

From February 13th to 20th, 2025, players can earn Camel Bells, S-Chips, and other rewards by completing event tasks. A core challenge involves a cell-flipping game board, revealing rewards with each successful flip.

The grand prize is the Ballad of the Dunes MR card pack, allowing players to choose one of the four new cards per round. Flipping 100 cells unlocks the exclusive "Celebration – Dunes" Namecard.
