Tony Hawk's Pro Skater 3+4 Receives Rating in Singapore

by Thomas May 01,2025

The rumor mill for the Tony Hawk's Pro Skater remake is heating up even more, with Singapore's rating board recently rating "Tony Hawk's Pro Skater 3+4" for a 2025 release. This highly anticipated collection, which includes the next two mainline games in the iconic series, is slated to hit a wide array of platforms, including Nintendo Switch, PC, PlayStation 4 and 5, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X|S. If these rumors hold true, fans can look forward to enjoying the classic skateboarding experience on their preferred gaming system.

Although there's no official word from Activision yet, a countdown timer found in Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 is adding fuel to the fire, teasing that some Tony Hawk's Pro Skater news will be revealed soon. The timer is set to end on March 4, 2025, heightening anticipation among fans.

Tony Hawk himself has added to the excitement, revealing in an interview with Mythical Kitchen that he's been in discussions with Activision about a new project. He teased that it would be something that fans would truly appreciate, hinting at a possible continuation of the beloved series.

The success of the Tony Hawk's Pro Skater 1+2 remake in 2020 set a high bar, and the logical next step seemed to be remakes of Tony Hawk's Pro Skater 3 and 4. However, after the stellar work by Vicarious Visions on the first two games, the developer was absorbed into Blizzard in 2021 to focus on other projects, leaving fans wondering who might take up the mantle for the next installment.

Tony Hawk shared in a 2022 Twitch livestream that the original plan was to follow up the 1+2 remake with 3+4, but with Vicarious Visions' transition, Activision had to look elsewhere. "The truth of it is that [Activision] were trying to find somebody to do 3 + 4 but they just didn’t really trust anyone the way they did Vicarious, so they took other pitches from other studios," Hawk explained. Despite these efforts, no suitable replacement was found, leaving the project in limbo until now.

With the Singaporean ratings board listing Activision as both the publisher and developer for the upcoming Tony Hawk's Pro Skater 3+4, the big question remains: who is actually developing this game? Fans won't have to wait long for answers, as the countdown to March 4 next week suggests that more details are just around the corner.
