Order 66 Survivors: Top Jedi Ranked

This month commemorates two decades since Star Wars: Episode III - Revenge of the Sith premiered - the climactic finale of the Star Wars Prequel Trilogy. Released on May 19, 2005, it stands as George Lucas's final Star Wars directorial effort before Disney's acquisition of Lucasfilm seven years later.

While fans anticipated Anakin Skywalker's dramatic transformation into Darth Vader, one lingering mystery involved the fate of thousands of Jedi. The film unveiled Order 66, Palpatine's sinister command that turned loyal Clone Troopers against their Jedi generals. Though most Jedi perished, the sheer number of Force wielders guaranteed some would evade extermination - including more survivors than just those seen in the Original Trilogy.

Among the dozens of Order 66 survivors now established in Star Wars canon, we've ranked the 10 most impactful. Some met their ends shortly after the purge, while others survived for decades - with several fates still untold. Regardless, each outlived Palpatine's infamous command.

Ranking Parameters

Our criteria requires documented service within the Jedi Order before Order 66 - whether as Padawans, Knights, Masters, or young Initiates. This excludes unaffiliated Force-users like Maul or Palpatine, or characters like Jod Na Nawood who received informal Jedi training without formal induction.

One borderline case is Asajj Ventress. Though informally trained as a Padawan by Jedi Ky Narec on Rattatak, she never visited Coruscant or interacted with the Jedi Council before Narec's death. Combined with her subsequent fall to the Dark Side under Count Dooku, her official Jedi status remains ambiguous - earning her an honorable mention.
