Ubisoft finally patched incompatibility of AC Origins and Valhalla with Windows 11

Ubisoft's Recent Wins and Ongoing Challenges: An Update
This update continues our series, "How is Ubisoft today?" While the company navigates ongoing challenges, positive news emerges regarding a long-standing compatibility issue.
Ubisoft has successfully addressed compatibility problems between several Assassin's Creed titles and the Windows 11 24H2 update. Games like Assassin's Creed Origins and Assassin's Creed Valhalla, rendered non-functional since Fall 2024, have received patches resolving this issue. These updates were announced on the respective Steam pages.
Player response has been overwhelmingly positive, with comments expressing relief and gratitude for the fix. The root cause, this time, was attributed to Windows, not Ubisoft's development. Despite this positive development, user reviews for both games remain "Mixed."
There's cautious optimism regarding Assassin's Creed Shadows, recently delayed until March 20th. Ubisoft aims to improve the game's quality before launch, recognizing its potential impact on the company's future.
