Ezio Auditore: Ubisoft Japan's Favorite Character!

Ubisoft Japan's 30th-anniversary celebration culminated in the exciting announcement of their Character Awards, and the results are in! The charismatic Ezio Auditore da Firenze, from the beloved Assassin's Creed series, has emerged victorious, claiming the top spot as the most popular character.

This online competition, running from November 1st, 2024, saw fans flock to Ubisoft Japan's official website to cast their votes for their top three favorite characters across all Ubisoft titles. The results, revealed today on Ubisoft Japan's website and X (formerly Twitter), highlight the enduring popularity of Ezio.

To celebrate Ezio's win, a dedicated page showcasing the master assassin in a new artistic style has been created. Fans can also download four free digital wallpapers featuring Ezio, perfect for their PCs and smartphones. But that's not all! A lucky 30 fans will receive a special acrylic stand set of Ezio, and 10 exceptionally fortunate individuals will win a massive 180cm Ezio body pillow!

The top ten characters were announced, showcasing a diverse range of Ubisoft's iconic figures. Aiden Pearce from Watch Dogs snagged second place, followed by Edward Kenway from Assassin's Creed IV: Black Flag in third.

The Assassin's Creed franchise also triumphed in a parallel poll for most popular game series, beating out Rainbow Six Siege and Watch Dogs for the top spot. The Division series came in fourth, followed by Far Cry in fifth.
