"Unlock All Secret Achievements in Monster Hunter Wilds: A Guide"
For all the completionists and trophy hunters out there, you'll be thrilled to know that *Monster Hunter Wilds* offers some challenging achievements to conquer. But don't worry, we've got you covered. Here's a comprehensive guide on how to unlock all the hidden achievements in *Monster Hunter Wilds*.
All Hidden and Secret Achievements in Monster Hunter Wilds
*Monster Hunter Wilds* features 12 secret achievements. Seven of these are tied directly to the main story progression, which means you'll unlock them naturally as you play through the game. The other five achievements are linked to optional objectives, as detailed below:
I Caught a Shooting Star!
To catch this celestial creature, head to Zone 11 of the Windward Plains at night. Arm yourself with screamer pods and keep an eye out for a Baunos flying near the gathering spots. Shoot it with a screamer pod, then quickly use your Capture Net to snag it. This achievement will be yours when you successfully capture the Baunos, which shines like a shooting star.
A Prize Held High
This achievement can be earned in any map by focusing on areas with tight corners and dead ends. Specifically, go to Zone 6 of the Scarlet Forest and locate the small puddle of water. Use your Capture Net to catch the small golden crab that bears the Ancient Wyvern Coin. Alma will often hint at the presence of such creatures by commenting on them holding something valuable.
A Legacy Restored
To unlock this achievement, you'll need to delve into High Rank missions and start crafting Artian gear. For the Rarity 8 weapons and materials required, you must hunt Tempered monsters while equipped with Rarity 7 gear. Successfully obtaining an Artian Weapon of Rarity 8 will grant you this achievement.
Seasoned Hunter
Don't confuse Tempered monsters with Frenzied ones; the former are outlined in purple on the minimap, while the latter are in red. To earn the Seasoned Hunter achievement, you must hunt or capture 50 Tempered monsters. They start appearing from Chapter 4 onwards, once you're into High Rank content.
Top of the Food Chain
This achievement requires you to hunt 50 Apex Predators. Only the following monsters count towards this total: Rey, Dau, Uth, Duna, Nu, Udra, and Jin Dahaad. Focus on these formidable foes to claim your spot at the top of the food chain.
And that's how you unlock all the hidden achievements in *Monster Hunter Wilds*. For more tips and detailed information on the game, including the best gathering set to use, be sure to visit The Escapist. Happy hunting!
