Unlocking the Fire Seal in Fields of Mistria: A Guide
Following the exciting March 10 update in *Fields of Mistria*, players can now reach the coveted Fire Seal after clearing the preceding altars. To unlock this seal, you'll need to gather four specific items: a Faceted Rock Gem, Rockroot, an Emerald, and a Sealing Scroll. Here’s a detailed guide on how to obtain each item and unlock the Fire Seal.

The Faceted Rock Gem is a rare artifact you can find within the mines of Fields of Mistria. Ensure you're playing the latest version of the game, then navigate through the mines until you reach Floors 50-59. We discovered the gem on Floor 56 after some diligent digging. Remember, like other artifacts, you can uncover this item from marked spots on the ground using your pickaxe or shovel. Be prepared to spend some time as the Faceted Rock Gem isn't an easy find.

Rockroot is a common forageable item found between Floors 50-59 in the mines. If you're a regular miner, chances are you've already stumbled upon this item before reaching the Fire Seal. Look out for a dark, root-like plant as shown in the image above. You'll only need one Rockroot to complete the Priestess' altar.
Where to Find Emerald in Fields of Mistria

Emeralds are the easiest items to secure among the offerings for the Fire Seal. You can find Emerald geodes on Floors 50-59 in the mines, and they're quite common. Alternatively, you can obtain Emeralds by breaking large boulders scattered around Mistria or purchase them from Balor’s Wagon for just 200 tesserae. If you've unlocked the new Stone Refinery with the March 2025 update, crafting Emeralds is also an option, saving you time from searching.
How to Get the Sealing Scroll in Fields of Mistria

The Sealing Scroll, the final item needed to unlock the Fire Seal, is linked to a quest that begins after you meet Juniper upon discovering the seal. You'll need to recruit Balor to procure the scroll, but this comes with a cost. To acquire the Sealing Scroll, you must provide:
- x10 Silver Ingots
- x10 Rubies
- x10 Sapphires
- x10 Emeralds
If you're short on any of these materials, the mines are a good place to search. Once you have all the required items, deposit them in the bin by Balor’s Wagon.
Unlocking the Fire Seal
With the Sealing Scroll, Faceted Rock Gem, Emerald, and Rockroot in your inventory, return to Floor 60 of the mines to offer these items. This action will unlock the Fire Seal, granting access to a new biome and additional content during the Early Access phase.
*NOTE:* *Fields of Mistria* is currently in Early Access, and its content may evolve. The information provided here is accurate as of Version 0.13.0 and will be updated if changes occur.
