Upcoming Pokemon GO Event Adding 2 New Paldean Pokemon

Pokemon GO's Fashion Week: Taken Over event, launching January 15th, introduces Shroodle and Grafaiai, the Gen IX Poison/Normal-type Pokemon. This event runs until January 19th, 8 PM local time.

Event Highlights:

• New Pokemon Debut: Shroodle hatches from 12km eggs; Grafaiai evolves from Shroodle using 50 candies.
• Surprise Encounters: Snapshots offer a chance to encounter a fashionably dressed Croagunk.
• Shadow Pokemon Surge: Increased Team GO Rocket balloon and PokéStop appearances. Charged TMs can remove Frustration from Shadow Pokémon.
• Shadow Raid Battles: One-star raids feature Shadow Nidoran♀, Shadow Nidoran♂, Shadow Totodile, and Shadow Ralts. Three-star raids include Shadow Electabuzz, Shadow Magmar, and Shadow Wobbuffet. Remote Raid Passes are enabled for these raids.
• Shadow Pokemon Encounters: Expect encounters with Shadow Taillow, Shadow Snivy, Shadow Tepig, Shadow Oshawott, Shadow Trubbish, and Shadow Bunnelby.
• Special Research: A new Special Research storyline allows players to rescue Shadow Palkia.
• Field Research Tasks: Yield Mysterious Components, Charged TMs, and Fast TMs.
• In-Game Shop: A 300-coin bundle offers an Incubator, Rocket Radar, and Premium Battle Pass.

Event Bonuses:

• Increased Team GO Rocket presence at PokéStops and in balloons.
• Charged TMs can remove the Frustration charged attack from Shadow Pokémon.

• Corviknight's evolutionary line arrives January 21st.
