Dead Sails Kraken Boss Guide
Embarking on your journey, you'll find yourself in the heart of town, directly across from the Gun Store and Hospital and in front of the Trading Hut. Start by offloading any unnecessary loot and arming yourself. A Rifle is highly recommended for its balance of cost and firepower; it's available for just $75 and can hold off most foes temporarily. Remember to stock up on coal to keep your boat's old-school engine running smoothly.

Your next destination is 10,000 meters away. Simply start your engine and set sail. While you might be tempted to stop and engage Zombies and Drowned for loot, it's generally not worth it due to the scarcity of valuable items in the side houses. Keep your boat moving, refueling with coal as needed. Be cautious of the worm on the right side, and wait until the second safe zone to sell your collected items, mindful of Big Foot and Zombie mobs along the riverbanks.

Beyond the second safe zone, you'll encounter burning buildings teeming with enemies. It's best to clear them with friends to save time, given the unpredictable spawn points. Around the 12,000-meter mark, a castle-like house awaits, packed with Drowned but also valuable loot like Shotgun ammo. Use your resources wisely here.

Dead Sails Kraken Tips And Tricks
The core gameplay revolves around the loop of kill, loot, and repeat while hoping your enemies fall. To elevate your game, maximize efficiency by using your boat as a primary storage space, emptying your inventory upon return.

Another effective strategy is to stack Zombies near the incinerator. Though you might be eager to leave these towns behind, efficient loot stacking will significantly boost your progress. Running low on fuel? Simply toss a few Zombies into the incinerator to refuel.

Keep an eye on Sherrif's offices; they often house a higher concentration of mobs, but the rewards in terms of weapons and ammo are worth it. With teamwork, you can sustain your shotgun's ammunition by having a teammate clear the ground floor of each town.

Conserve your resources for the fortress at around 25,000 meters. This area, still under construction, is prone to ambushes. It's advisable to tackle this with at least three others, ideally a full team of five. Be strategic with your loot collection here.

Avoid engaging Big Feet after 30,000 meters; they're formidable and require substantial ammunition to defeat safely. Plan your stops carefully, as loot isn't everything.
The town beyond 50,000 meters is a prime farming spot, with numerous Drowned and Zombies. With a team equipped with Shotguns or Sawnoffs, this is an efficient way to gather fuel from corpses. Coordinate with your team to prepare bodies for loading quickly.
How to Defeat the Kraken Boss in Dead Sails
Before facing the Kraken, sell all your items at the final safe zone and stock up on ammo, weapons, and medkits. Don't underestimate the Zombies and Drowned; ensure you have a minimum of 8-10 corpses for fuel. As you reach open waters around the 100,000-meter mark, you're set to confront the beast. The impending battle is signaled by darkening skies.

When the Kraken emerges, each player must focus on a specific tentacle due to the boss's high health and damaging attacks. If you have five players, form a pentagram-like formation, each dealing with a tentacle individually.

Watch out for the Kraken's water splash attack, which causes area-of-effect damage. It's telegraphed by the Kraken winding back and creating a water trail. Use medkits liberally, as some damage is unavoidable.

Lastly, be cautious of the Roar AoE, which inflicts minor but unblockable damage and may slightly boost the boss's damage. You'll recognize it by the white concentric circles emanating from the tentacle that used the ability.
