Vampire: The Masquerade – Bloodlines 2 has been pushed back once more, with its sights set on a new release window in October 2025. The announcement came via the game's official Twitter (X) account on March 26, accompanied by a video update.

In the video, Bloodlines 2 Executive Producer Marco Behrmann provided insights into the current development status, stating, "The status of the game right now is that the game is done. We are currently working on bug fixing, stability, and performance so we can deliver the best experience to you guys once it releases."

Paradox has been keeping fans in the loop with Dev Diaries over the past few months, covering characters, stories, and mechanics. However, to channel their efforts into enhancing the game, all Dev Diaries will be on hold until further notice.

The journey of Bloodlines 2 began with its reveal in March 2019, initially planned for a March 2020 launch. The game was in the hands of developer Hardsuit Labs at the start. Delays started accumulating, with the first pushback announced in October 2019 to a vague 2020 window, later extended to 2021.

In a significant shift, Paradox Interactive declared in February 2021 that Hardsuit Labs would step away from the project, handing the reins to The Chinese Room.
