World of Warcraft Reveals First New Warbands Campsites

New Campsite Options in WoW Patch 11.1

Players can now personalize their character selection screen with collectible campsite backgrounds. Patch 11.1 initially offers four new campsites, with more promised in future updates. These additions build upon the Warbands system from The War Within, showcasing Blizzard's commitment to ongoing feature enhancements.

Blizzard recently unveiled new character select screen customization options. Patch 11.1 allows players to create multiple camps per character, each with customizable names and unlockable backgrounds. The Public Test Realm (PTR) reveals these new backgrounds and their acquisition methods.

Beyond the original "Adventurer's Rest," four new campsites are available:

The Ohn’ahran Overlook is automatically unlocked upon logging in after Patch 11.1. The Cultists’ Quay is earned through the Season 2 Delver’s Journey. Freywold Spring and Gallagio Grand Gallery require completing the "All That Khaz" and "Racing to a Revolution" meta-achievements, respectively.

A new Collections pane tab displays these campsites, allowing for preview and unlocking. A dedicated campsite tab on the character select screen lets players choose their preferred background, or even randomize selections. Future updates will likely add more campsites, potentially through new content, events, the Trading Post, or even the in-game store.
