World of Warships Legends celebrates the Lunar New Year with new Legend of Wukong event

World of Warships Legends is celebrating the Lunar New Year with a thrilling new event featuring the legendary Sun Wukong! Wargaming's popular naval battle simulator brings the mythical Monkey King and more to the high seas, offering exclusive rewards on iOS and Android.

Following the recent Sky: Children of the Light Lunar New Year event, January's gaming scene is brightened by this popular seasonal celebration. World of Warships Legends joins the festivities with its Sun Wukong-themed event, introducing the iconic character from the beloved Journey to the West novel.

This update includes a campaign featuring the French Tier VII Premium battleship Picardie. The Lunar New Year event introduces Sun Wukong as a commander available for all nations, alongside his Pan-Asian Tier VII Premium cruiser, the Wukong, and numerous skins inspired by characters from Journey to the West.

But that's not all! World of Warships Legends is also bringing back previous Lunar New Year content. The Celestial Guardian commander guise returns, along with daily bonuses and several Pan-Asian and Japanese ships sporting ornate skins. Keep an eye out for Lunar Year '25 crates in the store and in-game, offering rewards including the exclusive Japanese Tier VI Premium cruiser Tokachi.
