The game's story unfolds in the vast and mysterious lands of Shu during the Ming Dynasty. Players assume the role of Wuchang, a fierce heroine grappling with amnesia, a condition concealing a crucial secret from her past.

Wuchang's journey through these dark and perilous lands will see her mastering both melee and ranged combat. Defeating certain enemies will unlock new abilities, adding depth and strategic choices to gameplay.
