As players continue exploring Version 2.3's content, Wuthering Waves prepares to launch its next major update. Version 2.4, officially named "Lightly We Toss the Crown," releases on June 12th with extensive new features including story expansions, characters, regions, and limited-time events.

The update introduces two playable Resonators - Cartethyia and Lupa - available through their respective convenes: "Dance in the Storm's Wake" and "Roar of Triumph." These characters debut alongside signature weapons Defier's Thorn and Wildfire Mark.

Story content expands with Chapter II Acts V (Shadow of Glory) and VI (Flames of Heart), continuing the narrative in the newly explorable Septimont region. Players can experience fresh exploration events including Septimont Travel Atlas and The Everglorious Summit, plus the photography-themed Uncovering Past Heroes activity.

All players receive 10 free Radiant Tide simply by logging in during the Gifts of Grand Opening event, with additional rewards available through the week-long Gifts of Applause login bonus. The Echo collection expands with new additions like Spectro Drake and Lioness of Glory, along with Phantom Echoes such as Cuddle Wuddle and Fae.
