Xbox Game Pass: Early January Game Lineup Revealed

Microsoft's January 2025 Xbox Game Pass lineup is here, bringing exciting new titles and, unfortunately, some departures. Road 96, My Time at Sandrock, and Diablo are among the additions, while six games are leaving the service.

Microsoft has officially confirmed the January 2025 additions to Xbox Game Pass, following earlier leaks and rumors. This marks the first new game lineup announcement of the year, adding to the excitement already generated by recent service updates including new age restrictions and reward system changes.

Seven new games join the Xbox Game Pass library, starting with Road 96 (available January 7th across all tiers). This marks a return for Road 96, previously available on the service. Six more titles arrive later in the month: Lightyear Frontier (Preview), My Time at Sandrock, Robin Hood – Sherwood Builders, and Rolling Hills (all available January 8th), and UFC 5 and Diablo (both January 14th). Note that Diablo is exclusive to Game Pass Ultimate and PC Game Pass, while UFC 5 is a Game Pass Ultimate exclusive.

Alongside the new games, Game Pass Ultimate members also receive new perks, including a weapon charm for Apex Legends and DLC for First Descendant, Vigor, and Metaball, all available January 7th.

However, the arrival of new games means some must depart. Six games are leaving Xbox Game Pass on January 15th: Common'hood, Escape Academy, Exoprimal, Figment, Insurgency Sandstorm, and Those Who Remain.
