HoYoverse has unveiled the exciting details for Zenless Zone Zero Version 1.6, titled ‘Among the Forgotten Ruins,’ set to launch on March 12th. This update promises to shake things up in New Eridu with a rich narrative and intriguing character developments.

What’s Happening in Zenless Zone Zero Version 1.6?

In this latest installment, Proxies find themselves embroiled in a high-stakes auction orchestrated by the Mayor, tasked with securing a mysterious artefact tied to the Sacrifice. However, their mission is complicated by the interference of Mockingbird, a notorious phantom thief syndicate, intent on thwarting the Mayor's plans. Other factions are also in the mix, eager to prevent the Proxies from claiming the prize. Amidst this chaos, Hugo and Vivian's suspicious behavior adds an extra layer of intrigue, leaving players to wonder about their true intentions. Zenless Zone Zero Version 1.6 introduces a new unit, Anby Demara, who transitions from her former role as Soldier 0 and leader of Silver Squad to an S-Rank Electric Attack Agent. Wielding dual swords, she's poised to deal substantial Electric damage. Additionally, Trigger, an ace sniper from Obol Squad, joins the fray as an S-Rank Electric Stun Agent. Her ability to enter Sniper Mode allows her to dodge attacks, take precise shots, and facilitate Quick Assists for her teammates.

Some Are Making a Comeback

Returning characters include Pulchra Fellini, an A-Rank Physical Stun Agent from the Sons of Calydon, as well as S-Rank Fire Anomaly Agent Burnice and S-Rank Ether Attack Agent Zhuyuan, who will have their rerun banners. Meanwhile, Geppetto emerges as the newest boss in Hollow Zero, promising challenging encounters.

The update also introduces new gameplay elements, such as Difficulty VI in Battlefront Purge, designed to push players' skills to the limit. The innovative Hollow Zero gameplay mode, Shadow Operation, adds special effects to each battle stage, enhancing damage based on accumulated coins. Trigger’s TV Schedule brings a fresh third-person sniper gameplay experience, allowing players to engage in real sniper missions. Additionally, the March On, Tiny Titan! event lets players control a Bangboo drone for unique challenges, while Little Knight’s Big Charge offers ten trials to navigate with a Bangboo, with rewards including Pulchra as a playable agent.
