[Adventure mode]

Progress from daytime to more challenging nighttime levels.

At the start of each level, choose which plants to bring into battle.

Begin with two plants and two slots, with both increasing each level. Unlock up to thirty different plants and ten slots.

The battlefield consists of five lanes; each zombie occupies a single lane, marching relentlessly toward your house.

Strategically position various plants, each with unique abilities, around your home to stop the zombies.

Planting requires "sun," earned naturally during daytime levels or from specific sun-producing plants.

If a zombie reaches the end of a lane, a lawnmower clears that lane. If a zombie breaches your defenses a second time, the game is over.

[Mini-Games]

Each mini-game features 8 levels.

- Light Up Stars

Fill designated spaces with Starfruit to complete each level. Strategically select and place plants within the marked areas.

- Slot Machine

In this unique mini-game, a slot machine automatically places your plants. Face endless waves of zombies while collecting enough sun to meet the level's goal. Plant sets change each level.

- Little Zombie

The zombies in this mode are miniaturized.

Though small, they appear in massive numbers, requiring you to defeat more than usual.

Plants are supplied via a conveyor belt on the left, with a different set provided each level.

Tip: Save your bombs for the largest waves.

- Last Stand

Survive 3–5 rounds to complete a level. Choose ten plants at the start, but you cannot change them between rounds.

Sun-producing plants are unavailable. You begin with 3000–5000 sun and receive an extra 250 after each round.

- Zombie Quick

This mini-game runs at double the normal speed.

This affects the movement of zombies, plants, projectiles, sun drops, and plant recharge rates.

- Invisible Zombies

This challenging mode hides the zombies from view.

A magic conveyor belt on the left provides your plants.

Each level features a different set of plants.

Use Ice-shrooms or other shooter plants to reveal the zombies' locations.

- Bowling

Attack zombies by launching Trees, Palm Trees, and Tomato Bombs from behind the white line. Hitting a zombie can send it bouncing into others.

- Push Pumpkin

Control a zombie to push all pumpkins into their targets. Remember, the zombie can only push, not pull.

- Dotman

Guide a Piranha plant through a maze filled with dots while avoiding four colorful zombies.

Eat all the dots on the screen to finish the level.

Plants' War is easy to learn but difficult to master.
