Rebel Wolves, a studio founded by former CD Projekt RED developers, recently unveiled their debut project, The Blood of Dawnwalker, in a captivating livestream. The stream showcased a four-minute cinematic trailer, serving as the game's opening cinematic and setting the stage for a dark fantasy action RPG experience.

Set in a 14th-century alternate Europe, The Blood of Dawnwalker follows Coen, a young man thrust into a supernatural struggle after the events depicted in the trailer. He must rescue his loved ones from a vampire threat, facing a daunting 30-day deadline. While time progresses strategically during gameplay, careful management of this ticking clock is crucial.

Coen’s journey presents significant moral choices. He must grapple with the temptation to embrace his newfound vampiric powers, a decision that will deeply impact both gameplay mechanics and the narrative's unfolding. A core mechanic, Blood Hunger, adds a layer of strategic tension. Coen must feed to maintain control, lest he risk losing himself and inadvertently harming key characters, leading to unforeseen consequences.

Players will explore richly detailed environments, with dynamic changes influenced by the time of day. The developers describe the open world as a "narrative sandbox," offering expansive opportunities for player agency and choice.
