"Avatar: Seven Havens Unveiled Post-Korra"

Nickelodeon and Avatar Studios have officially revealed Avatar: Seven Havens, a brand-new animated series commemorating the franchise's 20th anniversary. Original creators Michael DiMartino and Bryan Konietzko announced this 26-episode 2D-animated continuation, introducing a young Earthbender who inherits the Avatar mantle after Korra.

A Fractured World Awaits Its New Avatar

According to Nickelodeon's announcement, Seven Havens unfolds in "a world shattered by catastrophe. The new Earthbender Avatar quickly learns her title brands her as humanity's doom rather than salvation. Pursued by both human and spirit foes, she must unravel hidden truths alongside her twin sibling before the last remnants of civilization fall."

Konietzko and DiMartino shared: "While creating the original series, we never envisioned still building this universe decades later. This fresh chapter delivers thrilling fantasy, deep mysteries, and unforgettable new characters."

Two-Season Structure and Creative Team

The series will release across two 13-episode seasons (Book 1 and Book 2). Alongside the returning creators, executive producers Ethan Spaulding and Sehaj Sethi will help shape this new chapter. Casting details remain undisclosed.

This marks Avatar Studios' inaugural television project, complementing their announced theatrical film following adult Aang, scheduled for January 30, 2026.

The anniversary celebration extends beyond screens, including new novels, comics, musical events, merchandise, and even a Roblox experience honoring Avatar's legacy.
