Hearthstone Unveils Largest Mini-Set: Heroes of StarCraft

Get ready, Hearthstone fans! The Great Dark Beyond Mini-Set: Heroes of StarCraft is landing on January 21st, bringing the iconic factions of StarCraft into your favorite card game. This update promises a slew of quests and challenges that will keep you engaged and entertained.

Biggest Mini-Set Ever!

Unlike the usual Mini-Sets that offer 38 cards, this one is breaking records with 49 cards. You’ll find 4 Legendary cards, 1 Epic, 20 Rares, and 24 Commons, making it the largest Mini-Set Hearthstone has ever seen. But it's not just about the numbers; it's about the diversity and excitement it brings to the game.

Each StarCraft faction introduces 5 multi-class cards, and there's a special neutral card, Grunty, that's sure to steal the show. You can get your hands on these cards by opening The Great Dark Beyond Hearthstone packs, or unlock the full 94-card set directly. The standard Mini-Set costs 2500 Gold, while the all-Golden version is available for 12,000 Gold.

Hearthstone Spotlights the Factions in the Heroes of StarCraft Mini-Set

The Zerg faction is all about swarming the board and overwhelming your opponents. They team up with Death Knight, Demon Hunter, Hunter, and Warlock, led by the formidable Sarah Kerrigan. If you're into generating an army of tokens, the Zerg is the faction for you.

Next, we have the Protoss. Allied with Druid, Mage, Priest, and Rogue, and led by High Templar Artanis, they focus on big plays. Their strategy involves high-cost cards that become cheaper over time, setting the stage for explosive turns.

Lastly, the Terran faction includes Paladin, Shaman, and Warrior, with Jim Raynor at the helm. They introduce Starship synergies, allowing you to launch multiple Starships per game. The highlight here is The Battlecruiser, which comes with new art and the Mech minion type. If you own a Signature Starship piece, you’ll unlock the Signature-art version of the Battlecruiser.
