Girls’ Frontline 2: Exilium Pity System Explained: Does Pity Carry Over Between Banners?

Developed by Sunborn, Girls’ Frontline 2: Exilium is a free-to-play tactical RPG with gacha mechanics available on PC and mobile. A common question among players is whether the pity counter transfers between banners. The short answer is: yes, for limited banners.

Will Pity Carry Over?

Your pity counter and pulls from one limited-time banner in Girls’ Frontline 2: Exilium will indeed carry over to the next limited-time banner.

For instance, during the global launch, the Suomi and Ullrid banners ran concurrently. Pity progress accumulated across both, regardless of which banner you pulled from. This means if you were close to pity on the Suomi banner, you could switch to Ullrid and still benefit from the increased odds.

This system applies to all future limited banners, confirmed by Chinese server players. Any pity progress remaining on past limited banners will transfer to the newly added ones.

Important Note: Pity does not carry over between limited and standard banners. You cannot stockpile pity on the standard banner and then use it on a limited banner to obtain a featured character.

Soft and Hard Pity

While the hard pity is 80 pulls, a soft pity system begins at 58 pulls. After 58 pulls without an SSR unit, your chances gradually increase until you reach the guaranteed SSR at pull 80.

We hope this clarifies the pity system in Girls’ Frontline 2: Exilium. For more game guides, including rerolling, tier lists, and mailbox location information, check out The Escapist.
