Welcome to a thrilling world where robots reign supreme, and the quest for battery life is the ultimate challenge. In "No Robots, No Life" (ノーロボット ノーライフ), you'll dive into a dynamic pre-alpha experience where gameplay is constantly evolving. For those with slower devices, we recommend setting "Shadows" to 0 and "Draw Dist" to 02 in the settings to ensure smooth gameplay.
Gameplay Features:
- As a robot, you have the freedom to swap limbs and bodies in real-time with almost all other robots in the game, without the need for menus. This seamless interchangeability adds a layer of strategy and customization to your gameplay.
- Each limb comes with its own unique features and functions. By mixing and matching different limbs, you can unlock special abilities such as x-ray vision, plasma shields, stealth camouflage, night vision, and hyperspeed, among others.
- The enemy and neutral AI operate under the same rules as you, meaning their abilities are also determined by their limb configurations, making every encounter unpredictable and exciting.
- Navigate the world with a variety of transportation options, including motorcycles, cars, trucks, and large robots, with more to be added in future updates.
- The inventory system allows you to carry all weapons and ammo to any vehicle with a mount or storage, all managed through real-time animated interactions without menus.
- The save system ensures that every interaction you have with the game world is preserved, from dropped bodies and limbs to weapons, storage, vehicles, and more.
- Experience instant full body swaps via "TerePods" (Repair and Transport Pods), which can also be carried and mounted to trucks due to their limited range. Look forward to additional types of pods like feature swap or fast travel pods in future updates.
1.23a Pre-Alpha FUN Features:
These features require a physical keyboard and are labeled as "Debug" features, which may not make it into the final game. To access these, press F12 on your keyboard to open the console.
Console Commands:
- show debugbodies: Reveals bodies you can use and test their abilities. These bodies are only available at the Smell station in the starting area. Note that you can only save what you use, as these bodies won't load at the start of the game. Do not load them on TerePods.
- teleport (AreaCode): Instantly transport to different areas of the game. Available area codes include:
- 0 - Starter Area
- 1 - Smelter Base Area
- 2 - Polybius Area
- 3 - Big Digger 2 Area
- 4 - Abandoned Base Area
- 5 - Center Area
- 6 - Vehicle Repair Area
- teleport up-(Height): Teleport upward by a specified height to test drop damage and falling animations or to reach higher locations.
- teleport lastsave: Return to your last save point.
- detach (BodyPart): Remove specific body parts. Options include head, armL, armR, legL, legR, arms, legs, or all.
- disable immunities: Turn off all robot immunities, making gameplay more challenging.
- reboot: Simply reboots your robot, resetting it to its default state.
Dive into "No Robots, No Life" and experience a world where every decision and limb swap can change the course of your adventure. Stay tuned for updates as this pre-alpha version continues to evolve!
