Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 Season 2 has arrived, bringing with it a game-changer for camo completionists: Camo Challenge Tracking. This new feature significantly streamlines the often-daunting process of unlocking camos and calling cards. Let's dive into how it works.

Streamlining Camo Progress in Call of Duty: Black Ops 6

The patch notes describe Camo Challenge Tracking as a way to “easily track up to 10 Camo and 10 Calling Card Challenges.” But it’s more than just a simple tracker. The system also proactively alerts you to challenges nearing completion, even those not actively tracked, making the path to Dark Matter, Nebula, and 100% completion significantly smoother.

This means you can hand-pick your focus, tracking your progress on ten camo and ten calling card challenges simultaneously, easily checking your progress in-game instead of constantly returning to the main menu.

How to Track Camo and Calling Card Challenges in Black Ops 6

Tracking challenges is simple: Locate the camo or calling card challenge you want to track. Then, press Y (Xbox) or Triangle (PlayStation) to add it to your tracker. From then on, monitor your progress during matches, eliminating the need to constantly check your progress post-game.

Even without actively tracking a challenge, the game intelligently highlights those you’re close to completing. These near-completion challenges are also conveniently displayed in the Daily Challenges section of the Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 lobby.

Furthermore, unlocking special camos is now easier. Previously requiring nine preceding military camos, now only five are needed. While two special camos are still required for mastery camos, this significant reduction streamlines the overall camo acquisition process.

The addition of Camo Challenge Tracking directly addresses player feedback regarding the sheer number of camos and the difficulty of tracking progress. Treyarch has clearly listened, making the pursuit of those coveted camos a more manageable and enjoyable experience.
