CrazyGames Announces Crazy Web Multiplayer Jam 2025 Competition

CrazyGames launches its Crazy Web Multiplayer Jam 2025 this week, partnering with Photon Engine for this 10-day developer challenge. Participants will compete for cash prizes and premium Photon licenses.

Global Game Development Challenge

From April 25th to May 5th, indie developers worldwide are invited to join CrazyGames' web-based multiplayer game jam. In collaboration with Photon, the leading multiplayer service provider, this event focuses exclusively on innovative browser-based multiplayer experiences.

Competitors can win:

  • €10,000 in cash prizes
  • Premium Photon licenses including:
  • 500 CCU with Circle Starter for one year (€7,500 value)
  • 500 CCU annual license (€1,500 value)
  • 100 CCU annual license (€100 value)

Developers must create and submit games during the jam period while maintaining PEGI 12 compliance. Beyond these requirements, participants enjoy complete creative freedom.

CrazyGames will showcase winning titles on its platform - the leading HTML5 gaming portal featuring thousands of browser-based games since 2014. A pre-jam livestream on April 24th will introduce Photon's new WebGL platforms: Fusion and Quantum.

"Photon has powered multiplayer WebGL games for over a decade," said Mark Val, Photon's Head of Growth. "Our new Fusion and Quantum samples simplify high-performance multiplayer development. We anticipate WebGL games breaking into the world's top 20 websites soon, making this jam the perfect opportunity for innovation."

The free competition welcomes developers of all skill levels. Visit the official jam page for details and registration.
