Eliminate foes as you jump into three unique ships and choose from five distinct pilots

With the launch of the Epic Games Store on mobile last year, one of the most appreciated features of the platform also arrived: free games. These are available weekly, and they can be claimed, downloaded, and kept (as long as you're using the Epic Store), and this week you have the chance to get Super Space Club and head into space to fight enemy aircraft in 2D space battles.

The best way to describe Super Space Club is as a low-poly version of that same space shooter genre. Created by independent developer GrahamOfLegend (who shares his progress on his own YouTube channel), it allows you to select from three starfighters and five pilots, each with unique weapons and gameplay styles.

With over 100 different combinations of ship, pilot, and abilities, you'll need all of these along with your skills to face waves of enemies. As you complete tasks, you will also have to manage your ship's energy, making sure you don't end up stranded and easy targets for enemy aircraft and tough bosses.

Super Simple

Super Space Club is a great example of how the EGS seems to be adjusting its free games for mobile users. Easy, direct, and offering lots of content to discover, Super Space Club appears to be an outstanding addition to the space shooter category.

And if nothing else, Super Space Club highlights what intriguing new releases you can look forward to from GrahamOfLegend. Here's hoping that his retro island builder Ourlands will eventually come to mobile as well!
