Application Description

Leap a millennium into the past and seize control of the world!

When a modern army time-travels to conquer the world 1,000 years early, their primitive adversaries prove far more formidable than expected. Lead a global resistance with hundreds of warriors from diverse cultures. Take direct command of a single hero or oversee your entire forces from a strategic view. This game masterfully blends empire-building strategy with hands-on, interactive battles for the ultimate experience. Just when victory seems assured, history has a way of circling back...

UPGRADES

While the core game is free, optional upgrades let you customize your campaign—choose your faction and starting territory size. Unwind with fantastical custom battles between any two cultures, deploying as many troops as your device can handle. You can even edit every character in the world, though please note the game actively manages up to 1,000 characters, with regular replacements.

CONTROLS

When controlling an individual unit, choose between the "Classic" one-handed scheme or "Dual Wield" for independent hand controls. If you're new to the series, pause instantly by hitting the timeline, then review the "Controls" guide. Also, watch for in-game hints from discoverable scrolls and books.

Switch control between team members anytime by tapping their health bar or pointing directly at them on the battlefield. Use the on-screen arrows to enter "Commander" mode: step back and direct any ally by swiping from their position to a target. They'll interpret your command—whether to move, attack, or collect an object—based on their own situational awareness and priorities.

Regardless of your device or control style, you can always zoom in and out with a pinch gesture at the screen's center.

MAP

In the main "Campaign" mode, expand your territory by moving units between connected regions. You can "Fortify" a held territory or attempt to seize a rival's. Note: only 50% of a territory's units can travel, making offense more challenging than defense.

Inhabited territories can gain population after each turn, so controlling more land is crucial. Units also heal gradually over time, encouraging you to rotate through different locations each round.

PERFORMANCE

Please be aware this is my most ambitious game to date and may require a high-end device for optimal performance. To improve framerates, consider lowering the "Population" setting to reduce on-screen characters or adjusting other options in the "Display" menu.

There's far more to discover in this game than any description could cover—I hope you enjoy uncovering its depths for yourself!
