The Sims Rings in 25th Anniversary with Freebies Galore

Electronic Arts recently hosted a livestream event to commemorate the 25th anniversary of The Sims franchise. The broadcast unveiled a series of in-game gifts and events planned for The Sims 4 players throughout the celebratory period.

The festivities have already commenced with a new update. This update addresses various bugs, features a revamped main menu, and boasts improved game optimization. Several classic houses in Willow Creek and Oasis Springs have also received a makeover. These updated homes are immediately available in new games, while existing saves can access them via the in-game library.

The main anniversary celebration begins February 4th. A significant update will introduce over 70 new free items! Simultaneously, a new in-game event, "Blast from the Past," will launch. Players can unlock retro-themed items and a complete new set by completing a series of straightforward challenges.

A new season, "Motherlode," will debut in The Sims 4 on February 6th. Further details regarding the content of this season are yet to be revealed.
