• Discard pile draws require immediate use of the last played card in a meld.
• Face cards are worth 10 points, Aces are 11 (in melds) or incur a 15-point penalty if held at the end of a round. Jokers take the value of the card they replace, plus a 15-point penalty if held.
• The game progresses through rounds, accumulating scores until a player reaches or exceeds 500 points. Ties result in a playoff.
