Application Description

War of Empires, or WOE, is a real-time strategy (RTS) mobile game focused on player-versus-player (PVP) competitive action.

War of Empires Conquest (WOE) is a real-time strategy (RTS) mobile game built for PVP competition. A player can create a match, which others then join to battle one another. With full manual control over every unit and building, players enjoy significant strategic freedom.

Core Features:

WOE recreates 18 formidable medieval empires—including China, Japan, Persia, the Teutons, Mongols, Goths, and Maya—each with distinct strengths and weaknesses.

Every empire commands the same eight basic unit types, plus one exclusive unique unit. While regular units are shared, each civilization fields its own specialist—such as Mongol Riders, Persian War Elephants, or Spanish Conquistadors.

Standard units include:

1. Swordsman: A versatile and commonly used infantry unit.

2. Pikeman: Effective against cavalry but susceptible to archers.

3. Archer: Excels against infantry but vulnerable to fast-moving cavalry.

4. Light Cavalry: Highly mobile, ideal for scouting and raiding enemy lines.

5. Ram: A siege unit specialized in destroying buildings.

Buildings: Towers, Turrets, Castles, Blacksmiths, and more.

1. Tower: Key defensive structure. Garrisoning five villagers allows it to shoot up to six arrows at once.

2. Turret: Primarily targets and demolishes enemy structures.

Each empire in WOE offers unique perks and limitations. Below is a brief overview for reference:

1. Huns: No need to build houses, saving construction time. Cavalry units cost 20% less and can be upgraded to Rangers.

2. Teutons: Produce mighty warriors reminiscent of historical Spartans, though their movement speed is slower.

Key Strategies:

The core loop requires multitasking from the moment a match starts:

1. Economic Growth: Continuously produce villagers to gather resources. (Tip: Use Town Centers and Towers to shelter them when needed.)

2. Early Raids: Train a small force early to disrupt enemy gatherers and gain an early edge.

3. Eliminate Opponents: Coordinate with allies to overpower enemy armies, protect high-value units, and turn the tide of battle.

Success depends heavily on understanding unit counters and teamwork:

Learn each unit’s role. For instance:

1. Pikemen counter Cavalry

2. Cavalry counter Archers

3. Archers counter Pikemen

4. Camel Riders counter Cavalry

5. Koryo War Wagons outrange other ranged units

Game Modes:

Two primary resources—Food and Gold—drive progression. Advance through ages (Dark, Feudal, Castle, Imperial) to unlock new tech, buildings, and troops.

For clarity, four main modes are available, with Normal and Imperial Deathmatch being the most popular:

1. Normal Mode: Limited starting resources encourage fast expansion and tactical early raids. Complex, yet highly engaging.

2. Imperial Deathmatch: Begin in the Imperial Age with ample resources, enabling immediate large-scale combat.

Game Features:

WOE has been live for four years in China, evolving through numerous updates to its current 1.8.n version. Key implemented features include:

1. Player vs CPU

2. Online Multiplayer

3. Spectator Mode

4. Replay System

5. Map Editor

6. Legion (Clan) Support

7. Friends List

8. In-Game Chat
