Infocar is a powerful Android app designed to enhance your vehicle's management and provide valuable insights into your driving habits. Compatible with standard OBD2 protocols, Infocar offers a comprehensive suite of features, working optimally with the dedicated Infocar device, though some functionality is limited with third-party OBD2 terminals.

Key Features:

• Vehicle Diagnostics: Identify potential issues in your ignition, exhaust, and electrical systems. Fault codes are categorized for easy understanding, with detailed descriptions and a search function for further information. Stored ECU fault codes can also be cleared.

• Driving Style Analysis: Infocar analyzes your driving data to calculate your safe and economical driving scores. Detailed graphs and driving logs provide a clear picture of your driving habits, allowing you to track your performance over custom time periods.

• Comprehensive Driving Records: Track mileage, time, average speed, and fuel efficiency for each trip. Visualize speeding, harsh acceleration/deceleration, and sharp turns on a map. Use the driving replay function to review speed, RPM, and accelerator data by time or location. Download driving logs in spreadsheet format for detailed analysis.

• Real-time Dashboard: Monitor essential driving data at a glance, customizing the display to your preferences. View real-time fuel economy and remaining fuel level. Utilize the Heads-Up Display (HUD) function for crucial information projection. A driver alert system enhances safety during potentially hazardous driving situations.

• Vehicle Maintenance Management: Track consumable information and recommended replacement intervals based on mileage. Create and manage a vehicle expense balance sheet to plan and monitor your spending.

App Permissions and System Requirements:

• Android 6.0 (Marshmallow) or higher required.

• Optional Permissions:

  • Location: Used for driving records, Bluetooth device discovery, and parking location display.
  • Storage: Required for downloading driving records.
  • Overlay other apps: Enables the floating button functionality.
  • Microphone: Used for voice recording (if the black box function is enabled).
  • Camera: Used for parking location recording and black box video recording.

Supported Terminals:

Universal OBD2 terminals are supported, but some features may be limited when using non-Infocar devices.
