Marvel Rivals game-breaking bug punishes players with low FPS

A Marvel Rivals glitch discovered by a Reddit user unfairly disadvantages players with less powerful PCs. Low FPS (frames per second) causes several heroes to move slower and inflict less damage, effectively creating a pay-to-win scenario where upgrading PC hardware becomes necessary for competitive play.
This is clearly a bug, not an intended game mechanic. However, a swift fix isn't likely. The underlying problem stems from the Delta Time parameter, crucial for consistent game performance regardless of frame rate. Resolving this complex issue will require significant developer time.
Currently affected heroes include:
- Doctor Strange
- Wolverine
- Venom
- Magik
- Star-Lord
These characters exhibit reduced movement speed, lower jump heights, and decreased damage output. Other heroes may also be affected. Until a patch is released, players are advised to optimize their FPS, potentially by lowering graphical settings.
