Escape the Cursed Forest: A Simple, Non-Combat RPG

Embark on a unique RPG adventure as a seasoned hunter trapped in a cursed forest. This minimalist game focuses on exploration, resource management, and strategic decision-making, rather than traditional combat.

Prologue: You, the village's best hunter, journey to a national hunting tournament only to find the forest eerily deserted. The hunters have vanished, leaving behind only remnants of their camps. Your journey to escape begins with a simple question: What is the "Elven Curse"?

Gameplay Features:

• Intuitive Controls: Navigate the game with a maximum of three buttons at any given time, excluding the main menu.
• Character Creation: While character customization is limited, you can reroll your stats as often as needed to achieve your desired build before starting the game. Stats cannot be checked in-game. A talisman is required to revive the character upon death.
• Foria, the Quarter-Elf: A mysterious quarter-elf boy aids your escape, offering support and crucial items.
• Storytelling: The narrative unfolds through evocative text and dialogue, painting a vivid picture of the cursed forest.
• Exploration: Uncover the secrets of the forest by exploring unexplored areas. The success of each exploration attempt depends on your character's stats and the area's "fog depth."
• Beast Encounters: Wildlife, from wolves to surprisingly aggressive frogs, inhabit the forest. Defeat them for resources, or strategically avoid encounters altogether. Unlike other RPGs, there's no leveling up through combat. The goal is simply to escape.
• Cloak System: Craft and layer cloaks using gathered materials to enhance your abilities. Note that cloaks can tear and become unusable over time.
• Skill Selection: Choose from a variety of randomly presented skills to enhance your character.
• Auto-Save: The game features an auto-save system, but saving doesn't occur during battles. For a guaranteed save, exit to the main menu.
